Qualifications

• PharmD degree from an accredited educational institution.

• Must possess a Pharmacist license from the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy; BLS certification and Level I Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license and fingerprint clearance card issued by AZ DPS.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications and provide counseling, ensuring awareness of drug interactions.
• Supervise pharmacy staff and oversee compliance with quality standards.
• Provide immunization services per CDC guidelines when required; manage vaccine storage and records.
• Verify prescriptions, assess dosing and therapy appropriateness, and document interventions.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient health information.
