Job summary

The successful candidate should hold a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD and pursue CT licensure; PGY1 residency is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy with a B.S. or PharmD degree.
• ASHP-accredited PGY1 pharmacy residency desirable but not required.
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service Quality: Demonstrate and promote CHAMP behaviors.
• Medication Management: Review orders considering patient characteristics, labs, and vitals.
• Medication Preparation and Distribution: Demonstrate competency with pharmacy automation and technology.
• Medication Safety, Regulatory Affairs, and Quality Assurance: Adhere to policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Leadership: Provide education and training to staff, students, and residents.
• Financial/Volume Results: Contribute to cost-reduction and revenue generation.
