Job summary

Travel to Penn Medicine pharmacy sites as needed. Required credentials include an active PA Pharmacist License and an active PA Immunization License, with a Bachelor of Science or Doctor of Pharmacy

Qualifications

• Active PA Pharmacist License required.
• Active PA Immunization License required.
• Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide optimal pharmacy service by designing, recommending, monitoring and documenting pharmacotherapy.
• Review provider orders and dispense medications for inpatient and outpatient areas.
• Supervise and direct the activities of pharmacy staff and students.
• Maintain accurate patient profiles and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Assist in managing medical emergencies and respond to drug information requests.
• Travel to and staff multiple Penn Medicine pharmacy sites as needed.
• Adhere to medication-use policies and ensure patient safety.
