Job summary

The Maine Medical Center Clinical Pharmacist role reviews medication orders for safe and effective drug use; collaborates with physicians and other health care professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes; and formulates recommendations based on current literature and evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities include interpreting orders, evaluating drug-therapy regimens, and providing guidance to the care team to optimize therapy across patient populations.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree (BS Pharm or PharmD) from an accredited school.
• Current state license with Board of Pharmacy.
• Previous pharmacist experience preferred.
