Job summary

Texas Health Resources seeks a Clinical Pharmacist to monitor and verify medication orders for our acute care hospitals and the Texas Health Recovery and Wellness center. This is a full-time role with rotating shifts and will support ongoing discharge medication reconciliation efforts.

You will participate in ad hoc projects aimed at improving system pharmacy operations and quality initiatives within a team-based environment, with strong emphasis on lean principles and excellent management

Responsibilities

• Monitor and verify medication orders for acute care hospitals and the Texas Health Recovery and Wellness center.
• Support the ongoing expansion of the discharge medication reconciliation process.
• Participate in ad hoc projects to improve system pharmacy operations and quality improvement efforts.

Work hours:Full Time (40 hours) Rotating Shifts

The candidate will be responsible for monitoring and verifying medication orders for wholly owned acute care hospitals and Texas Health Recovery and Wellness center. Candidate will also be supporting the ongoing expansion of discharge medication reconciliation process. This role also participates in many ad hoc projects to support system pharmacy operations and quality improvement efforts.
