Job summary

Intermountain Health's Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, UT is hiring a float pharmacist. The role covers day, evening, and weekend shifts with rotating holidays, ensuring safe, effective pharmaceutical care and timely medication delivery to care areas.

The position requires a PharmD (or BS in Pharmacy) with state license, immunization certification if applicable, and hospital experience preferred. You will supervise interns and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

Pharmacist license in the state of practice.
Current knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws.
Immunization certification if applicable to practice site needs.
Hospital experience preferred; intern or student exposure acceptable.

Responsibilities

Review medication orders for allergy interactions, duplications, and therapy appropriateness.
Dispense medications accurately and ensure safe, cost-effective therapies.
Counsel patients and promote adherence and education.
Supervise interns, technicians, and support staff as required.
Participate in regulatory training and document compliance.
