Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Pharmacy required at hire
• Doctor of Pharmacy required at hire
• Pharmacist licensure in WA at hire
• Basic Life Support - CPR required at hire

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates ability to document clinical activities and interventions as defined by policy and procedure.
• Interprets medication orders for drug interactions and appropriate drug selection; enters/verifies orders in the computer system.
• Verifies and checks medications prepared by other pharmacy personnel.
• Communicates drug information to patients and health professionals; resolves drug-related problems by consulting with other health care professionals.
• Maintains knowledge base to provide clinical services for all age groups served.
• Maintains working knowledge of automated systems.
