Job summary

Qualifications

• Current MA licensure required for pharmacists.

Responsibilities

• Interprets medication orders accurately and maintains patient profiles.
• Monitors drug therapies for contraindications, interactions and dose appropriateness.
• Educates patients and clinicians regarding medications and therapies.
• Supervises pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in dispensing and IV preparation.
• Ensures compliance with hospital policies, accrediting bodies and medication safety procedures.
