Job summary

St. Tammany Health System is seeking a clinical pharmacist to assist in developing, implementing, and documenting the hospital's clinical pharmacy program.

You will collaborate with pharmacy leadership, staff pharmacists, and medical staff to ensure safe medication use across all patient ages, from neonates to geriatrics. The role involves dispensing medications and advising on dosing, potential side effects, and drug compatibilities.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree and Louisiana licensure required.
• PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency or 3 years of clinical pharmacist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development, implementation, and documentation of the clinical program.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Pharmacy Manager, Pharmacy Operations Manager, AVP Pharmacy, staff pharmacists, medical staff and other healthcare professionals.
• Dispense medications and provide dosing information, side effects, and compatibilities for patients from neonates to geriatrics.
