$5,000 Sign-on Bonus

Reports to the Pharmacy Manager and assists in the development and maintenance of pharmacy services that promote and provide pharmaceutical care. Participates directly in clinically oriented services with a commitment to providing an excellent customer service experience.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct, evidence-based medication management for critically ill and emergent patients.
  • Actively participate in rapid response events, stroke alerts, code blues, trauma activations, interdisciplinary rounds, and bedside procedures.
  • Optimize medication therapy through real-time clinical decision-making.
  • Lead and support initiatives that enhance quality, safety, and clinical outcomes.
  • Serve as a trusted clinical resource for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to antimicrobial stewardship and adherence to clinical protocols.
  • Engage in teaching, precepting, and multidisciplinary education.
Qualifications

Completion of a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency; PGY2 in Critical Care or Emergency Medicine strongly preferred, or equivalent clinical experience.

Strong clinical judgment and the ability to work independently in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.

Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills.

Education And Experience

The knowledge, skills and abilities as indicated below are normally acquired through the successful completion of a bachelor's degree in pharmacy or a Pharm D degree from an accredited school of pharmacy or successful completion of the foreign pharmacy equivalency exam and licensure as a registered pharmacist or eligible for licensure in the State of Indiana. The completion of hospital pharmacy residency or equivalent experience is preferred.
