Job summary

HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital is seeking a dedicated Clinical Pharmacist to join our multidisciplinary team in South Carolina. The role centers on accurate processing, compounding, and dispensing of pharmaceuticals while actively monitoring drug therapy for safety and efficacy.

You will also participate in bedside rounds, antimicrobial stewardship, and provide clinical recommendations to medical staff. The ideal candidate collaborates effectively in a fast-paced environment, mentors students

Qualifications

• This role requires a B.S. or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy and a current pharmacist license in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy.
• Candidates must possess the knowledge and skills to meet the needs of patients and customers.

Responsibilities

• Process, compound, and dispense pharmaceuticals accurately while monitoring patient drug therapy for safety and efficacy.
• Participate in bedside rounds and provide evidence-based recommendations to medical staff.
• Engage in antimicrobial stewardship and clinical interventions to improve patient outcomes.
• Mentor pharmacy students and technicians and contribute to departmental improvement.
