Job summary

Good Samaritan Hospital in California is hiring a Clinical Pharmacist to ensure safe and effective use of medications. You will monitor prescribed therapies, interact with the care team, and contribute to evidence-based practice to reduce drug risks.

Qualifications

• B.S. or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
• A current and valid license as a registered pharmacist in the state of California.
• One-year hospital acute care experience required; PGY Residency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interact daily with the pharmacy team, nurses, physicians and staff to resolve drug therapy issues.
• Provide medication information and consultation on pharmacokinetics, dose adjustments, orders, laboratory tests and monitoring.
• Participate in training of new pharmacists, pharmacy students and technicians.
