A Career Defining Opportunity in Academic Acute Care

Acute care pharmacy demands adaptability, sound clinical judgment, and the ability to make meaningful contributions across diverse patient populations. At UVA Health, Float Clinical Pharmacists are not "fill-ins."

The Role

We are seeking a Float Clinical Pharmacist to provide clinical and operational support across multiple inpatient service lines, helping ensure safe, effective, and high-quality medication use for our patients. In this role, you will apply your broad acute care knowledge while developing deeper familiarity with a wide range of specialties and care environments.

No two days are exactly the same. You may support a medical or surgical unit one day and transition to a different inpatient service the next, collaborating with new teams while applying consistent clinical standards. The pace is engaging and intellectually stimulating, offering exposure to a broad range of disease states, therapies, and patient needs.
