Job Summary: The Clinical Pharmacist provides patient-centered care to adult acute care patients. Responsibilities include providing pharmaceutical care to optimize therapeutic outcomes, promoting cost-effective drug therapy, educating pharmacy students and residents, participating in research, and contributing to clinical and medication management protocols.

Qualifications:

• Pharmacy degree (B.S. or Pharm.D.) from an accredited school.
• Current North Carolina pharmacist license.
• Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PGY2 residency in Cardiology, Transplant, or Pharmacotherapy.
• Board Certification.
• Experience mentoring pharmacy residents.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills.
