Baptist Health is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to deliver clinical pharmacy services and ensure optimal patient outcomes on a daily basis at Baptist Medical Center East. The role collaborates with the Pharmacy Manager to develop and maintain systems that promote cost-effective drug therapies.

Qualifications include a PharmD (or 2-3 years clinical experience) with an active Alabama license, and BLS/ACLS as required. Position involves 7 on / 7 off shifts with regular full-time status.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of pharmacy required.
• PharmD degree preferred (or 2-3 years clinical experience).
• Active RPH license required.
• Alabama Controlled Substance certification required.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Additional certifications (PALS, NRP, etc.) may be required depending upon area assigned.

Responsabilités

• Provide clinical pharmacy services to promote optimal patient outcomes.
• Work with the Manager, Pharmacy to develop, implement, and maintain patient-centered systems.
• Perform computer order entry duties accurately and apply pharmaceutical calculations.
