Job summary

ITAC Solutions is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to review prior authorizations and support coverage determinations, helping patients access medications nationwide.

This fully remote role offers consistent Monday–Friday hours with no nights or travel, a collaborative pharmacy team, and exposure to PBM systems.

You will review requests, document decisions, and collaborate with prescribers to ensure timely, accurate coverage.

Qualifications

• Active PharmD or RPh license in good standing.
• Experience in retail, clinical, or PBM pharmacy roles.
• Ability to manage high-volume casework while maintaining accuracy and quality.
• Comfort working within multiple PBM systems and adapting to new technologies quickly.

Responsibilities

• Review and make timely, accurate coverage determinations for prior authorization requests.
• Document clinical decisions using workflow systems and PBM platforms.
• Collaborate with Coverage Determination Analysts and prescribers to gather needed information.
• Research claim history and past prior authorizations to support clinical decision-making.
• Ensure quality and productivity standards are consistently met.
• Partner with pharmacists and internal teams to maintain high service levels.
• Perform additional duties related to the prior authorization process as needed.
