Job summary

LUX Infusion is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to provide clinical pharmacy services, sterile compounding oversight, and operational support for safe, effective patient care in a fast-paced setting.

You will review infusion orders, participate in rounds, and ensure compliance with USP standards while supporting clinicians and care teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required; PharmD or MS in Pharmacy preferred.
  • Current NY Pharmacist license.
  • 2 years in acute care or 1 year home infusion experience preferred.
  • Experience with intravenous admixture and therapy.
  • Ability to collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other professionals.
  • Strong problem-solving and staff supervision abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

What You'll Do

The Clinical Pharmacist provides clinical pharmacy services, sterile compounding oversight, and operational support to ensure safe, effective, and compliant patient care.

Responsibilities include:
  • Review infusion orders and patient therapies

  • Perform sterile compounding and TPN review

  • Ensure USP and cleanroom compliance

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Master of Science in Pharmacy preferred.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Pharmacist in the State of New York.
  • Minimum of two years of recent experience in an acute care setting or one year of recent home infusion therapy experience preferred.
  • Experience and strong knowledge base in intravenous admixture services and intravenous therapy.
  • Ability to evaluate and monitor drug therapy relative to the total needs and clinical conditions of home care patients in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams to provide safe and effective drug therapy.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve and supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Participation and membership in professional pharmacy societies and organizations preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated dependable attendance and consistent job performance.

Pay Range/Rate

$125,000 - $146,000 USD
