Job description

At LUX Infusion, we’re reimagining infusion care to be more human, supportive, and connected. Inspired by lux — meaning light - we guide patients, providers, and partners through complex therapies with clarity, compassion, and confidence.

As a clinician-led, U.S.-based organization, we put people first - helping patients feel seen and supported through faster therapy starts, dedicated care coordination, and meaningful collaboration. Our commitment to inclusion, diversity, equity, and advancement (IDEA) is central to our culture, ensuring every team member feels valued and empowered to make a difference.

We’re looking for a Home Infusion Nursewho wants their work to mean something — a licensed Registered Nurse who brings clinical excellence, empathy, and purpose to every patient interaction.

Why This Role Matters

The Infusion Suite Nurse plays a vital role in delivering safe, personalized intravenous therapies while supporting patients through complex diagnoses and treatment plans. This role is often the face of care — building trust with patients and families while collaborating closely with physicians and clinical leaders.

In this role, you’ll contribute to work that:

  • Helps patients feel seen, supported, and confident during infusion therapy

  • Ensures safe administration and monitoring of high‑tech IV medications

  • Supports providers through clear communication and skilled clinical execution

  • Strengthens a patient‑first, clinician‑led organization focused on outcomes

Every infusion, every conversation, and every reassessment matters — and your work makes that care experience brighter.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver intravenous infusion therapy safely and effectively in an infusion suite setting

  • Monitor patients before, during, and after infusions, identifying and managing reactions or complications as needed

  • Perform IV insertions across all age groups, including peripheral, PICC, and Port‑a‑Cath access

  • Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical leadership to implement and adjust patient care plans

  • Provide patient and caregiver education tailored to individual understanding and anxiety levels

  • Support patient assessments and nurse/patient education initiatives as requested by the Clinical Nurse Manager

  • Maintain accurate, detailed clinical documentation and patient records

  • Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members to support holistic patient needs

  • Manage infusion appointments and contribute to efficient scheduling and patient flow

  • Focus on positive patient outcomes through compassionate communication and high clinical standards

What We’re Looking For

You may be a great fit if you bring:

  • A deep commitment to patient‑centered care and advocacy

  • Strong communication skills with patients, families, and care teams

  • Confidence delivering IV therapies and managing complex infusion protocols

  • Comfort educating patients with empathy, clarity, and calm

  • A desire to work on a team that values both compassion and clinical excellence

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

  • Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license with ability to practice in New York State

  • Proficiency with IV insertions across age groups, PICC and Port‑a‑Cath management, and nursing assessments

  • Experience delivering high‑quality patient care and supporting patient satisfaction

  • Basic computer proficiency (e.g., Microsoft Office, clinical documentation systems)

  • Knowledge and experience using IV pumps

  • Ability to communicate professionally and serve as a patient advocate

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two (2) or more years of nursing experience with emphasis on IV insertions, SubQ and IM injections, and oral medication administration

You don’t need to check every box — we care just as much about how you show up for patients as your years of experience.

Why LUX Infusion

At LUX Infusion, we believe infusion care deserves more light — more warmth, more clarity, and more connection.

Here, you’ll find:

  • Purpose‑driven clinical work with direct patient impact

  • Supportive leadership and collaborative care teams

  • A strong focus on safety, quality, and professional growth

  • The opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients over time

Come help us deliver infusion care that feels personal, safe, and deeply human — and see what’s possible when care comes first.
