Proficiency in sterile compounding and USP 797/800 compliance is required, with involvement in antimicrobial stewardship and quality improvement initiatives. The position is part-time, with days shifts and 8-hour shifts (9:00 am–5:30 pm).

Qualifications

• Current state: Registered Pharmacist License.
• Hospital pharmacy operations experience preferred.
• BS in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification preferred

Responsabilités

• Review inpatient medication orders for safety and appropriateness.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams during rounds to support evidence-based therapy.
• Oversee medication dispensing and sterile/non-sterile compounding per USP 797/800.
• Perform medication reconciliation during admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Educate patients and serve as a drug-information resource for staff.
• Support medication safety initiatives, adverse event reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage medication inventory, emergency supplies, and pharmacy operations.
• Participate in antimicrobial stewardship and other clinical programs

Hours: 8 -hour shifts - 9:00 am to 5:30 pm

Schedule: Monday through Friday (one Weekend a month)

Location: Saint John Hospital - Leavenworth, KS

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Clinical Pharmacist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing medication therapy, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes. Proficient in sterile compounding, USP 797/800 compliance, and hospital regulatory standards, with demonstrated involvement in antimicrobial stewardship, quality improvement initiatives, and adherence to clinical protocols.

Qualifications

• Current state: Registered Pharmacist License.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy operations is preferred.
• A B.S. degree in Pharmacy is required; a Doctor of Pharmacy degree is preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification preferred
