Job summary

MedStar Health seeks a Clinical Pharmacist for night shift coverage in its Maryland-Washington region. You will provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services for inpatient units, including order verification, sterile compounding, therapeutic drug monitoring, and medication safety oversight.

You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interprofessional teams to optimize therapy and support code situations.

Responsibilities

• Perform order verification for inpatient units.
• Oversee sterile compounding and medication safety oversight.
• Conduct therapeutic drug monitoring and respond to emergent and stat orders.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interprofessional teams to optimize therapy.
• Participate in antimicrobial stewardship and provide patient and staff education.
• Document interventions accurately in the electronic health record and contribute to QA/improvement efforts.
