MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Welocalize is currently seeking linguists to join our trusted pool of medical language experts for our Welocalize Life Science business unit, focusing on the en_US to hu_HU language pair.

The client is a leading medical device company. We are looking for an MTPE linguist to assess language quality on an ongoing basis.

MAIN DUTIES

• Translate Life Science content from English into Hungarian, conveying the original meaning in a readable and understandable manner for the target audience.
• Have a minimum of three years' experience in translating and reviewing content in relevant subject areas or verticals.
• Be a native speaker of Hungarian.

• Additional Job Details
• Tools: XTM, Trados
• Capacity per week: 5000+ words
• Start date: ASAP

Requirements

• Native speaker of Hungarian and fluent in English.
• Degree in linguistics, medical sciences, or an equivalent subject.
• At least 3 years of experience in translating and/or editing medical documents, including clinical patient and investigator-facing materials in the life sciences field.
• Good communication skills and willingness to engage with clients via calls.
• Proficient in CAT tools such as XTM and Trados.
