Charles River Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Technician I for its Clinical Pathology Team in Mattawan, MI. This entry-level role trains you to perform on-boarding, learn procedures, and contribute as part of a collaborative team.

Under supervision you will handle sample management, labeling, processing, slide preparation and verification; you will gain experience with lab equipment, safety procedures, and GLP/SOP compliance as you progress toward proficiency.

Competenze

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities to achieve goals.
Computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and ability to learn a validated system.
Knowledge of GLP, SOP, BOP and IACUC rules.

Mansioni

Learn basic skills to conduct a study under supervision.
Labeling, delivery, aliquoting, processing, and verification of biological samples.
Cleaning of lab and equipment; preparation, staining, and consolidation of slides.
Work extended hours as needed and maintain a safe working environment.
