Hours: M-F, 8 am – 4:30 pm, Hybrid (on-site for first 6 months, possible remote thereafter)

Penn Medicine is looking for an Application Analyst at the Senior, Mid, or Associate level, OR a Clinical Analyst at the Senior, Mid, or Associate level for PennChart ED (Epic ASAP).

Senior Application Analyst:

The Senior Application Analyst is responsible for supporting and maintaining applications within UPHS. Responsibilities include providing technical instruction, managing projects through their lifecycle, developing new functionalities, testing, implementing vendor releases and upgrades, fixing defects, and serving as a technical resource for the team.

Accountabilities include:
  • Participating in application projects, setting goals, and meeting deadlines.
  • Managing project plans and coordinating development and testing of new functionalities.
  • Creating documentation, developing test plans, and supporting system upgrades.
  • Ensuring adherence to change management protocols and maintaining all documentation.
Application Analyst:

Responsible for optimizing applications, supporting upgrades, and fixing defects. Provides education on system functionality and ensures compliance with policies.

Accountabilities include:
  • Understanding UPHS applications and workflow requirements.
  • Creating documentation, executing test plans, and supporting upgrades.
  • Collaborating on change control and providing ongoing support.
Associate Application Analyst:

Supports application functions under supervision, focusing on testing, implementation, and documentation.

Accountabilities include:
  • Developing understanding of applications.
  • Assisting in testing, documentation, and supporting upgrades.
Clinical Analyst roles:

Senior, Clinical, and Associate Clinical Analysts have specific qualifications and experience requirements, including healthcare professional licenses, degrees, and years of experience.

Education & Experience:

Varies by level, generally requiring relevant healthcare and IT experience, with specific educational requirements.

Skills & Abilities:
