Job summary

QPS Holdings, LLC is seeking a phlebotomist to join our Screening Department. You will perform venipuncture, obtain vital signs, handle blood sample collection, label and document specimens, and ensure procedures comply with SOPs and study protocols.

The role requires excellent customer service, ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting, and collaboration with the clinical team to maintain accurate records and specimen processing.

Qualifications

Description

This position will be working in our Screening Department and performing phlebotomy, obtaining vital signs, sample collection, customer service and completing documentation. Our phlebotomists are responsible for performing venipuncture and accurate organization, recording, and processing blood samples in accordance with SOPs/PRCs and protocol specifications. This position must be able to work with other clinical staff to ensure procedures are completed in a coordinated manner and in accordance with the processes and procedures that ensures compliance with applicable rules and regulations related to human subjects in research.

Responsibilities
  • Read and understand the guidelines of the study protocols.
  • Perform venipuncture
  • Label and QC specimen containers according to protocol specifications
  • Maintain ability to work effectively with other people including both participants and other members of the clinical team
  • Record specimen collection accurately
  • Process samples according to protocol specifications
  • Patch assessment evaluations
Qualifications
  • Combination of relevant education & experience that provides sufficient knowledge & skills to ensure incumbent’s success in this role, such as:
    • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent relevant work experience required
    • 1 year experience as a phlebotomist preferred
    • Experience performing vitals sign checks preferred
    • Outstanding customer service skills
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
    • Consistently demonstrate dependability and punctuality
