Job summary

StoryPoint Group is seeking a Traveling Wellness Director / Clinical Operations Specialist to provide guidance and oversight of wellness standards across senior living communities in Southeast Michigan.

The role requires an active LPN or RN license, 3+ years of management experience, and travel of 80%+. You will audit systems, support care teams, and ensure continuity of care during vacancies while coordinating with the home office and pharmacy services.

Responsibilities

• Act as the community Wellness Leader during a vacancy and support care team members.

• Review physician orders using eMAR in collaboration with pharmacy support.
• Verify that ADL schedules are developed and executed during vacancies.
• Collaborate with Human Resources for addressing employee performance concerns.
• Coordinate with home office to ensure smooth transitions of team members.
• Promote a positive work environment and encourage teamwork and communication.
• Conduct monthly audits to ensure policy/program compliance with standards.
• Support wellness leaders with ongoing training.
• Perform other duties within scope as assigned.

Position Summary

The Traveling Wellness Director / Clinical Operations Specialist is responsible to provide support, guidance, direction, and oversight from a wellness perspective at communities to sustain continuity of standards until a replacement can be identified. This position will also perform audits and monitor systems to ensure standards are being met.

Required Experience

• LPN/RN License Required
• Degree in healthcare or related field.

• Must have demonstrable knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office in a Windows environment, with a capacity to master company specific software

Accountabilities

General Working Conditions

This position entails standing for long periods of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to communicate effectively with others, sit, stand, walk and use hands to handle keyboard, telephone, paper, files, and other equipment and objects. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to review detailed documents and read computer screens. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The work environment requires appropriate interaction with others. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. Occasional travel to different locations may be required.
