Job summary

Lenoir-Rhyne University’s College of Health Sciences invites applications for a part-time Clinical Coordinator for the Physician Assistant Program. Working under the Director of Clinical Education, the role provides administrative support for the clinical phase, including rotation scheduling, records, onboarding and compliance.

The position is 12-month, 0.5 FTE (~20 hours/week) with scheduling aligned to PA program needs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, recordkeeping and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage confidential information and multiple deadlines with accuracy and professionalism.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn clinical education and learning management systems.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively and recognize issues requiring escalation to faculty or program leadership.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clinical rotation schedules and track placement confirmations, changes and outstanding needs as directed by the DCE.
• Maintain current clinical site, preceptor and student records in designated clinical education systems.
• Coordinate and track student onboarding and compliance requirements, including site-specific documentation.
• Track required student and preceptor evaluations and follow upon missing or incomplete items.
• Communicate routine schedules, deadlines, onboarding requirements and documentation needs to students, preceptors and clinical sites.
• Provide administrative and logistical support for clinical callbacks, assessments, meetings and other clinical-year activities.
