The Clinical Operations Manager- VBC supervises an interdisciplinary team of clinical and non-clinical field team members and directs the team to manage Affordability and advance clinical quality for patients with kidney disease and congestive heart failure. The role supports stakeholder engagement, outcome metrics, productivity, and patient experience related to VBC initiatives. It involves managing customer relations within the assigned territory (TN, GA, KY) and working closely with the Provider Engagement Team.

This is a fully remote position with travel within the market for on-site support.

Responsibilities
  • Manage profit & loss (P&L) in a healthcare setting, including financial reporting and market analysis.
  • Utilize business intelligence reports to enhance operations.
  • Support regional quality and financial targets, oversee case assignments, supervise care teams, and monitor performance.
  • Manage transitional care teams to prevent avoidable admissions and re-admissions.
  • Ensure compliance with workflows, protocols, and documentation standards.
  • Support training, application proficiency, and data collection for meetings and reports.
  • Participate in performance improvement, shadow visits, and system issue resolution.
  • Coordinate communication between patients and staff, and track outcomes against goals.
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve patient care and operational efficiency.

Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience in healthcare.
  • Experience with clinical profit and loss management, budgeting, and reporting.
Preferred Education
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred.

  • Proficiency with electronic health systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to travel within the region.
