LA Pain in Beverly Hills seeks a dynamic, hands-on leader to run day-to-day clinical operations for 22 staff across three clinic locations. You will manage medical assistants, scribes, records clerks, and front-desk staff; design schedules; enforce policies; and develop SOPs. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in a medical clinic are required.

This on-site role includes occasional travel to other offices; salary starts at $100,000 to $125,000 annually.

  • Take ownership of day-to-day clinical operations and provide leadership.
  • Conduct trainings, audit patient calls/intakes, review visit reports, provide feedback.
  • Coordinate clinic schedule to ensure proper staffing; implement changes as needed.
  • Enforce clinic rules and policies; develop SOPs and suggest improvements.
  • Solve problems independently and collaborate with management to maintain patient experience.
  • Take direction from Medical Director and Director of Operations, implement changes.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by senior staff.

Job description

Lead day-to-day clinical operations and a 22-person team across three specialty surgical clinic locations, including medical assistants, scribes, patient intake, medical records, and front-desk staff.

We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on leader with significant experience managing a team.Prior experience working in a medical clinic is highly valued, especially experience with a surgical specialty like spine, ortho, pain, or plastics.

Our clinical team covers 3 offices and consists of both on-site and remote positions.This position is based in Beverly Hills.Travel requirements are limited, but some visits to our other offices will be necessary.

Job Type: Full-time (approximately 40 to 50 hours per week)

Schedule: Monday through Friday, plus 1 Saturday per month

Location: On-site in Beverly Hills with occasional travel to Inland Empire and Bay Area locations.This is not a work-from-home position.

Starting Salary: $100,000 to $125,000

Job Description:

  • Manage our team of medical assistants/scribes, medical historians, records clerks, and receptionists
  • Take ownership of your role—once you are trained, day-to-day clinical operations will be in your hands
  • Conduct trainings, audit patient phone calls and clinical intakes, review patient visit reports, provide feedback
  • Coordinating the clinic schedule to ensure proper staffing; design schedule changes as needed
  • Enforce clinic rules and policies
  • Master all clinical team processes and protocols and monitor clinic workflowto ensure smooth and efficient operations;
  • Document processes as formal SOPs, make suggestions for updates and improvement as needed
  • Solve problems independently and quickly
  • Work collaboratively with management team to maintain a consistently excellent patient experience
  • Take direction from Medical Director and Director of Operations and implement changes or corrections for the team
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the Medical Director, Director of Operations, and other senior staff.

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Substantial experience managing a team (more than 10 people)

  • At least 5 years of full-time, relevant work experience after obtaining bachelor's degree
