Job summary

AppleGate Recovery, a division of BayMark Health Services, is seeking a Clinical Coordinator for an outpatient clinic. The role focuses on maintaining quality care, monitoring patient treatment, and ensuring accurate clinical records in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s in behavioral health, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage staff and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in behavioral health preferred.
• Experience in behavioral health care management.
• Strong leadership and counseling knowledge.
• Ability to handle high-pressure deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to enforce policies and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Maintain quality of care across the clinic.
• Monitor treatment of all patients.
• Keep accurate current clinical records.
• Conduct internal program and patient records reviews.
• Assess training needs with the Program Director.
• Ensure staff compliance with Federal and State regulations.
• Attend conferences and trainings.
• Understand alcohol/drug abuse and current treatment info.
• Provide intake/readmission services.
• Provide follow-up calls to discharged patients for 30 days.
• Provide crisis intervention and referrals as needed.
• Prepare interagency reports/documentation.
• Monthly chart reviews for quality control.
• Assist in community relations and marketing.
• Collect patient program fees as necessary.
• Use computer programs for clinic financial accountability.
• Develop relationships with patients.
• Lead as team leader and delegate tasks.
• Present a professional community image.
• Participate in monthly in-service trainings.
• Follow-up calls to new patients within 48 hours.
• Other duties as assigned by the Program Director.
