Premier Research is seeking an experienced Clinical Operations Instructional Designer/Trainer Analyst II to join our Clinical Strategy and Business Operations team. This remote, full-time role focuses on designing and delivering training materials for clinical operations staff across life sciences clients.

You will develop CBT modules, manuals, assessments, and blended learning solutions using adult learning principles, collaborating with subject matter experts to ensure content aligns with job

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as education, HR, organizational development, instructional design, public health, drug development, or clinical trial management.
  • Experience designing and delivering training in diverse settings (small/large groups, classroom, online).
  • Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, or scripts is highly preferred.
  • Experience developing and delivering application/systems training programs is strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience in clinical research is highly prioritized.
  • Proven experience with instructional design tools like Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, Camtasia, Articulate, and Adobe Storyline is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain instructional design material for clinical trainings, including e-learning modules, manuals, exercises, and competency assessments.
  • Apply adult learning principles to create engaging, accessible training content and select appropriate modalities (eLearning, ILT, blended).
  • Incorporate multimedia elements (graphics, audio, video, interactive components) into training materials.
  • Collaborate with clinical operations SMEs to identify learning needs and develop content specifications.
  • Design and apply assessment tools to measure training effectiveness and implement improvements.
  • Track and report training outcomes to cross-functional teams.

Premier Research is looking for a Clinical Operations Instructional Designer/Trainer Analyst II to join our Clinical Strategy and Business Operations team.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Design, develop, and maintain instructional design material related to clinical trainings, including computer-based learning modules, training manuals, exercises, competency assessment and testing, in support of the employee roles and job functions.
  • Utilize adult learning principles to create engaging, accessible, and interactive training content. Evaluate and make recommendations regarding training material, training modality (i.e., eLearning, instructor-led programs, blended learning options, job aids), and methodology.
  • Integrate various multimedia elements such as graphics, audio, video and interactive components in training materials
  • Collaborate with clinical operations subject matter experts to identify learning needs, training objectives and instruct design to develop specifications for content of courses.
  • Design and apply assessment tools to measure training effectiveness. Implement recommendations based on assessment.
  • Track, analyze and report on training outcomes to cross-functional teams based on organizational need.
What We're Looking For:
  • A Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in relevant field such as education, human resources, organizational development, instructional design, public health, drug development, clinical trial management
  • Prior experience developing and delivering training a variety of settings including small/large groups, classroom, online, etc.
  • Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts highly preferred
  • Ability to develop and deliver effective application/systems training programs strongly preferred
  • Previous experience in clinical research highly prioritized
  • Proven working experience in instructional design and with instructional technology (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, Camtasia, Articulate, Adobe Storyline) highly preferred

The annualized starting base pay for this role is $75,000 USD. The actual salary will be influenced based on a variety of factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
