Proclinical Staffing is seeking an Area Director of Clinical Operations to provide strategic leadership and oversight across multiple clinical research sites in Yukon, OK. You will drive performance and ensure regulatory compliance across studies.

The role requires a collaborative leader who can align cross-functional teams, manage resources, and deliver on enrollment, milestones, and revenue targets while maintaining high-quality standards. Travel to sites will be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• Advanced degree in a related discipline preferred.
• Clinical research experience with supervisory or management responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead project management for assigned studies, ensuring timelines, milestones, and deliverables are met.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities across sites, regulatory, quality, and sponsor interactions.
• Monitor study performance and address barriers to enrollment, timelines, and revenue.
• Oversee staffing, training, and resource allocation for high-priority, multi-site studies.
• Drive accountability for area performance, ensuring enrollment milestones and revenue targets are achieved.
• Evaluate site performance using KPIs and dashboards, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Partner with site leadership to develop corrective action plans for underperforming studies.
• Ensure sites have adequate staffing, training, equipment, and resources to execute studies successfully.
• Provide oversight of study execution, including visit completion, data entry, and query resolution.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring quality and compliance standards are upheld.
• Report regularly to executive leadership on area performance, risks, and growth opportunities.
• Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Primary Responsibilities:

In this role, you will ensure the successful execution of clinical studies, from start-up through completion, while driving performance, resource optimization, and compliance. This position requires a collaborative leader who can align cross-functional teams, manage risks, and deliver on financial and operational objectives.

Skills & Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, project management methodologies, and clinical research operations.
• Expertise in sponsor engagement, site management, and risk mitigation.
• Proven leadership in managing multi-site operations and developing staff.
• Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience in clinical research, including supervisory or management roles.
• Willingness to travel as needed, including air travel.
