Job summary

Southcoast Health System, Inc. is looking for a talented Social Worker-Clinical-Oncology. This per diem position requires a Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited university and a current LCSW license in Massachusetts. Candidates should have at least three years of medical/psych/social assistance experience, preferably in a hospital setting.

The role involves providing clinical social work services to patients and families, addressing barriers to care, and conducting age-specific assessments. A competitive pay rate between $33.66 - $46.52 per hour is offered.

Qualifications

• Three years medical/psych/social assistance experience required, preferably in a hospital setting.
• LICSW preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and COVID-19 or qualify for an exemption.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical social work services to patients and families.
• Remove barriers to care by providing interventions/referrals for financial and transportation issues.
• Provide case management services independently, including assessments.
