Job summary

Actalent in Orlando, FL seeks a Clinical Research Infusion Nurse to manage the care of cancer patients enrolled in oncology clinical trials. The role blends hands-on infusion expertise with regulatory requirements under FDA and ICH/GCP guidelines.

You will deliver chemotherapy, monitor for adverse events, document CRFs, and work closely with investigators, coordinators, and pharmacy staff to ensure safe, compliant trial execution and patient education.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license (required).
• Oncology/chemotherapy Infusion OR Complex Infusion Experience.
• Proficiency with PIVs.
• Oncology Experience (OCN Certification Preferred).
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to clinical trial protocols, FDA regulations, and ICH/GCP guidelines.
• Deliver chemotherapy, biotherapy, and investigational agents with oncology medication knowledge and side-effect management.
• Conduct clinical assessments, monitor adverse reactions, and evaluate patient toxicity per protocol.
• Document source data and complete Case Report Forms (CRFs) accurately.
• Collaborate with PIs, coordinators, and pharmacy teams for compliant study execution.
• Educate patients and families on study expectations, treatment processes, and side effects.
