Across the United States, 6 in 10 adults – or 133 million Americans, live with one or more chronic conditions. Chronic disease is today’s leading cause of death and disability in the US and the leading driver of the nation’s $4.1 trillion in annual healthcare costs. Patients who live with chronic conditions require far more touch points than our primary care physicians have time to deliver and the result is countless health emergencies and costly ER visits that could be prevented. Workforce shortages and lack of technologies make it difficult to give patients the attention they need.

At Cadence, our mission is to deliver life-changing care to over one million patients living with chronic disease by the end of the decade. We mitigate the impact of chronic disease by using technology and a world-class clinical team to remotely monitor, manage, and support patients at home. Together with our growing network of health system partners, we deliver guideline-directed care to tens of thousands of patients today while producing best-in-class clinical outcomes.

Cadence is looking for a strategic, operationally minded, and hands-on Clinical Onboarding & Credentialing Lead to build and lead a critical function that ensures we have the right clinical capacity, properly credentialed and licensed- to deliver excellent patient care across markets. This is a unique opportunity to build scalable systems and processes that ensure Cadence can meet clinical SLAs, maintain compliance, and support ongoing growth.

This role is designed for someone who is both a builder and a doer. You’ll lead efforts to operationalize provider licensure, credentialing, and clinical readiness programs to support Cadence's care delivery across markets. You’ll partner closely with cross-functional teams in compliance, care delivery, and technology to ensure our provider network is ready, compliant, and efficient.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Build scalable operations (people, processes, tech) to ensure we are delivering the right care at the right time to the right patients.
  • Lead and optimize end-to-end credentialing and licensure operations, including tools, systems, and vendor partnerships.
  • Ensure full compliance with NCQA and other regulatory standards.
  • Implement, assess, and manage new tools and systems for credentialing, license management, CME tracking, and EHR access.
  • Monitor and forecast provider capacity to meet SLAs and support market expansion in collaboration with Growth Ops.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Compliance, Care Delivery, Data, and Tech to align provider networks with evolving needs and ensure regulatory adherence.
  • Design, implement, and oversee a robust audit program to ensure licensure, credentialing readiness, and compliance.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
  • 7+ years of experience in healthcare operations, preferably within health tech, with preferred demonstrated expertise in licensure and credentialing standards, multi-state telehealth regulations, CPAs and CME requirements.
  • Operational and analytical mindset with a strong bias to action.
  • Systems thinker who builds for scale but isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves.
  • Excellent communicator and cross-functional collaborator.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage a remote team effectively.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., NCQA) are a plus.
