Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant to assist in patient care activities under supervision within a clinical setting in Newnan, GA. This role supports both front office and back office functions, following established guidelines and standards.

The ideal candidate will have a GED or H.S. Diploma, completion of a Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program, or equivalent experience, along with CMA certification and BCLS.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or Nursing Assistant program is required.
• In lieu of formal education, two years of medical assistant or related clinical experience is required.
• CMA-AAMA Certification Upon Hire is required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire is required.
