MarinHealth is seeking a Nutrition Technician to serve as the liaison between patients, staff and the Nutrition Services Department. You will organize patient information for food service production and assist with diet orders and education.

The role requires a two-year nutrition-related degree (or equivalent) and a willingness to obtain ServeSafe and IAMTAC within stated timelines. Collaborative, patient‑focused care is essential in this hospital setting.

Qualifikationen

• Two-year degree in nutrition-related field preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience as diet tech/diet assistant or diet clerk in an acute care hospital preferred.
• ServeSafe certification required within 90 days of hire; IAMTAC required within 30 days of hire.
• Strong customer service and English communications; Spanish preferred.

• Provides basic patient education regarding therapeutic diet orders.
• Assists patients with menu selections and tray tickets with accuracy.
• Coordinates with nursing and dietitians to implement nutrition care plans.
• Maintains patient nutrition data in CBORD and relates to production staff.
• Supports performance improvement and patient safety initiatives.
