Responsibilities

• Assists the Dietitian in implementing nutritional care plans, ensuring compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
• Supports the provision of quality food services, promoting an enjoyable dining experience for residents, guests, and staff.
• Collaborates with interdepartmental teams to integrate nutritional care into overall facility operations.
• Aids in maintaining compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards, including Joint Commission, through documentation and adherence to policies.
• Provides nutrition information and education to individuals as designated by the Dietitian.
• Assists in evaluating and improving dining service operations to enhance resident satisfaction and meet nutritional objectives.
• Develops and maintains positive relationships with residents, families, and staff to foster a supportive and caring environment.
• Supports the Dietitian in conducting audits, preparing reports, and implementing performance improvement initiatives.
• Ensures accurate documentation of nutrition care activities and maintains records in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
