Job summary

Mercy Medical Center, part of Trinity Health Of New England, seeks a Clinical Nutrition Supervisor who will oversee the dietitian team and diet office activities, provide direct patient nutrition care, and report to the Director of Food Services and the RCNM.

This full-time day-shift role emphasizes leadership, policy development, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and ensure compliance with hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in human nutrition required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Three+ years of dietitian experience in an Acute Care setting required.
• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist in MA required.
• Allergen Awareness training/certificate and Serv Safe Management training/certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises day-to-day activities of clinical nutrition and diet office staff.
• Ensures inpatient clinical dietetic functions meet patient needs.
• Develops and monitors system policies and quality improvement activities.
• Coordinates nutrition services with food service operations and THS-FANS team.
• Represents clinical nutrition as an onsite resource to other departments.
