The Clinical Nutrition Supervisor supports the operation of the clinical nutrition department by communicating and supporting its goals, facilitating a safe work environment with adequate tools and resources, and serving the Registered Dietitians and other staff. Responsible for ensuring that dietitians provide safe, effective, and evidence-based medical nutrition therapy, including nutrition education, counseling, enteral/parenteral nutrition, and condition-specific nutrition care, following the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Standards of Practice and Standards of Professional Performance. Ensures quality practice, competence, and accountability for patient safety, providing safe, quality services aligned with the organization's mission and vision. Assists in creating, designing, and implementing quality improvement programs, and supports accreditation and regulatory compliance initiatives. Occasional inter-campus travel may be required. Participates in outstanding customer service and maintains respectful relationships with all clients and staff.
