Memorial Medical Center Las Cruces is seeking a Clinical Nutrition Manager to lead a team of registered dietitians and guide medical nutrition therapy for patients, families, and staff. You will build relationships with physicians and nursing to support patient satisfaction and nutritional care.

The role requires a Registered Dietitian with state licensure, 3+ years of related experience, and strong knowledge of regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed dietitian as required per state regulations.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food and Nutrition or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a related field.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards.
• Computer experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and various software.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for a team of 2+ registered dietitians; manage hiring, scheduling, training, coaching, and counseling.
• Complete nutritional assessments and interventions using evidence-based practices for inpatient and outpatient care.
• Educate patients, families, nursing, food service, and staff on nutritional needs.
• Provide nutritional support training for patient service ambassador team.
• Manage clinical QAPI projects and collaborate with departments to achieve goals.
• Document patient assessments and interventions in medical records; communicate with physicians.
• Manage orders for therapeutic diets and supplements; attend rounds; ensure regulatory compliance.
