Sodexo is seeking a Clinical Nutrition Manager 2 for MedStar Montgomery Medical Center in Olney, MD. Lead a team of dietitians and diet office staff while supporting inpatient nutrition services in a community hospital setting.

This role offers a blend of leadership and clinical practice, including staff development, regulatory oversight, committee participation, and collaboration with hospital teams during an exciting transition to Epic.

You’ll oversee daily nutrition services, drive program excellence, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care. In this position, you’ll ensure regulatory compliance, manage clinical operations, and support both team development and client satisfaction while making a meaningful impact on health outcomes.

Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization. Accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes or programs, which may include dotted-line or matrixed management.

Pay Range:

$89250 per year - $115500 per year

What you’ll bring

Must be a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) with acute care clinical nutrition experience. Communication, collaboration, and patient care skills are required. Experience leading nutrition interventions and working with interdisciplinary teams is preferred.

• Leadership experience in managing daily clinical nutrition operations and guiding teams to meet performance, budgetary, and patient care goals.

• Relationship-building skills to foster client satisfaction and effective collaboration across departments.

• Proven track record in implementing and sustaining quality improvement initiatives that enhance clinical outcomes.

• In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards, with a commitment to full compliance.

• Strategic mindset with the ability to support program development, drive innovation, and communicate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
