Job summary
Penn Medicine, the leading academic medical center, seeks a Clinical Educator and Advanced Practice Specialist to advance education and competency within Clinical Nutrition Support Services (CNSS). Qualifications
- Master of Arts or Science is required.
- Bachelor of Arts or Science is required.
- ACEND-accredited dietetics program is required.
- ACEND Dietetics Internship or ISPP is required.
Responsibilities
- Direct clinical education, competency development and evidence-based practice within CNSS.
- Lead staff training, professional development, quality improvement and practice advancement.
- Coordinate competency programs, mentoring, rounds and continuing education for dietitians and trainees.
- Review and develop nutrition education resources used throughout the organization.
- Monitor practice trends, evaluate evidence and update policies and guidelines.
- Lead practice-change initiatives with leadership and disseminate best practices.
