Description:

• PRN (Will be scheduled to work 1 Saturday every 3 weeks) – Non-Benefited
• Location: Germantown
• Department: Clinical Nutrition
• This position reports to the Clinical Nutrition Coordinator

Responsibilities:

• Manages nutrition assessment and medical nutrition therapy using the nutrition care process that encompasses the scope and timeliness of nutrition care delivery to hospitalized patients.
• Flexible schedule.
• Provides nutrition expertise to physicians and other health professionals.
• Participates in activities that encompass interdisciplinary care, Performance Improvement, promotion of health and/or provision of nutrition education for patients, families, staff, and community.

What you will need:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, or verification statement from the American Dietetic Association confirming completion of DPD (Didactic Program in Dietetics) Requirements.
• Licensed in the state of Maryland, including 15 credit hours of continuing education every year.
• Active registration status with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact positively with physicians, patients, families, and hospital staff.
• Ability to handle confidential information and situations.
• Hospital clinical dietetics experience preferred.

Pay Range:

$29.86 - $43.34

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may vary within the stated range based on location.
