Position Overview

The Clinical Nursing Supervisor will be a key member of the Clinical Multidisciplinary Team at UCP of Western Massachusetts. Responsibilities include assisting with Clinical Eligibility Intake Assessments, providing medical review for Intake applicants, collaborating with the Director of Community Living Options and the Director of Family Support, and training staff across departments in healthcare support.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and document healthcare services, medical needs, and interventions for members, including participation in Individual Support Plans and case conferences.
  • Advocate for the health of program members and coordinate with Primary Care Physicians.
  • Manage medical compliance, treatment plans, and maintain confidential medical records.
  • Conduct preadmission reviews, member assessments, and develop AFC care plans.
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and support AFC caregivers, ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Perform quality assurance tasks such as audits and policy reviews.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and maintain professional relationships.
  • Maintain necessary certifications, licensure, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
  • Current RN licensure by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing.
  • At least 2 years of recent experience in care of the elderly or disabled adults.
  • Preferred: 1+ year supervisory experience.
  • Ability to train adult learners.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with remote communication tools like Zoom.
  • Valid driver’s license, private vehicle, up-to-date insurance, and vehicle inspection.
  • Satisfactory background checks (CORI, SORI, Fingerprint).
  • Negative Mantoux TB test or clear chest x-ray.
