Shaker Place Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a Supervising Registered Nurse to oversee nursing staff, coordinate resident care, and ensure high standards of service. You will supervise staff, prepare reports, and collaborate with medical, dietary, therapy and pharmacy teams to maintain residents at their best functional level.

Minimum qualifications include 4 years as an RN with 2 in supervision and NY RN licensure.

Formación

• Four (4) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse, two (2) of which must have been in a supervisory capacity.
• Possession of a license issued by the State of New York to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse.
• Thorough knowledge of professional nursing techniques and their relation to medical practices

Responsabilidades

• Collaborates with medical staff in the care and treatment of residents.
• Assigns unit staffing to assure quality of services.
• Supervises the preparation of descriptive medical reports and data.
• Instructs nursing staff on problems, techniques, and staff evaluations.
• Coordinates services with other departments for resident well‑Being.
• Interacts with medical, dietary, therapy, social services and pharmacy.
• Supervises activities of subordinates and distribution of supplies.
• Assists in formulation and execution of policies and procedures.
• Maintains good relationships with residents and their families.
• Prepares records and reports.
