Job Description

The Clinical Nursing Supervisor supports nursing staff by coordinating patient care, communicating information, and providing nursing care through the nursing process. They are responsible for clinical, educational, administrative, and research functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical: Support RNs in patient advocacy, care planning, and clinical decisions. Act as a resource, collaborate with the care team, and ensure adherence to standards.
• Educational: Support staff and patient education, identify learning needs, and promote professional development.
• Administrative: Lead nursing care delivery, assist with staffing and resource allocation, and support unit operations.
• Research: Keep current with nursing research and support implementation of relevant studies.

Minimum Requirements

Education: Graduate of an approved nursing school; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Licensure: Indiana RN license and BLS certification.

Experience: 3-5 years in a clinical leadership role preferred.
