AdventHealth Shawnee Mission is seeking an experienced registered nurse to oversee clinical operations in the outpatient practice. You will supervise medical assistants, LPNs, and RNs, while partnering with physicians to maintain high-quality patient care and safety.

Job Description:
Demonstrates commitment to professional and personal growth by completing mandatory educational requirements and maintaining certifications. Proactively supports a culture of safety and quality to protect patients and employees. Honors patient\'s rights by following privacy guidelines, HIPAA, and code of ethics. Assists Practice Administrator with administrative issues and problems as needed. Manages day-to-day clinical activities of the practice, including direct supervision of MAs, LPNs, and RNs. Develops and implements clinical policies and procedures to improve quality and efficiency. Prepares equipment and aids physicians during treatment, examination, and testing of patients. Provides post-procedural follow-up care in the outpatient practice setting. Maintains and securely controls medical supplies and medication counts, ensuring no expired medications are available for use. Communicates effectively and courteously with patients, co-workers, physicians, and external customers. Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with policies, procedures, rules, and regulations. Performs other duties as assigned.
