***PLEASE NOTE WE ARE SEEKING Transport RN's. ROTATING SHIFTS OR STRAIGHT NIGHTS. EVERY OTHER WEEKEND. HOLIDAY COMMITMENT REQUIRED***
*13-week length assignments, Travelers accepted*
***PHRN certification and pediatric experience are required for this role. Please only submit candidates who meet these requirements. PA RN license is also required; ensure candidates are aware of this prior to submission.***
• Follows the nursing process to deliver safe, compassionate, and culturally effective care.
• Gathers and synthesizes assessment data to determine the patient/family plan of care, share pertinent data with the care team, and delegate tasks.
• Recognizes clinical changes indicative of patient deterioration and utilizes the CAT team when appropriate.
• Collaborates with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Utilizes case management resources to coordinate care across the continuum.
• Addresses ethical dilemmas and moral distress, seeking resources as needed.
• Demonstrates competence in teaching and progresses to an expert educator of patients and families.
• Documents care provided on each shift and evaluates nursing interventions and outcomes.
• Implements clinical practice changes into practice and documents evaluations per hospital standards.
• Follows safe hand-off practices, communicates effectively with empathy, and encourages patient/family self-advocacy.
• Participates in interdisciplinary rounds, revises care plans accordingly, and incorporates evidence-based practice.
• Develops partnerships with staff, delegates tasks, and maintains professional relationships with patients and families.
• Models professional appearance and behavior, expands clinical judgment, and enhances critical thinking skills.
