Nursing Supervisor - Float Pool - Med Surg Tele

The Nursing Supervisor will oversee all Med Surg Tele units, assist with budgeting, monitor patient care activities, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Responsibilities include supervising staff, ensuring proper patient charge assignments, and maintaining positive relationships with medical staff. The Supervisor also assists with departmental operations and staff development.

Essential Job Duties

• Delegate shift tasks and assignments effectively.
• Maintain positive relationships with Medical Staff.
• Assist with operational responsibilities including employee hours and QA data collection.

Qualifications

• Two years of recent department-specific experience.
• One year of supervisory experience in Med/Surg/Tele.
• Completion of an accredited RN program.
• BSN preferred; CA RN license required.
• Current BLS & ACLS certifications.
• Basic EKG/tele interpretation skills.
• CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
