Job summary
Banner Health Corporate seeks a RN Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) to serve as a clinical expert, educator, consultant, and change leader. The CNS supports care for patients with complex needs, partners with multidisciplinary teams, and helps nurses implement best practices to improve quality and safety.
Scheduling is Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM, with opportunities across Banner Health’s extensive network; this role emphasizes education, leadership, quality improvement, and system-wide change
Qualifications
- Master's degree in nursing and RN license required.
- Certification as a certified nurse specialist in specialty area.
- Current BLS certification.
- Proficiency in computer applications and database management.
- Exemplary professional demeanor and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert consultation for complex patient care and develop interdisciplinary plan.
- Monitor quality and patient satisfaction outcomes.
- Coach, mentor, and develop nursing staff and clinical teams.
- Lead practice changes and system-wide quality initiatives.
- Develop and revise clinical policies and guidelines.
- Participate in committees and collaborations to improve care delivery.
